Where are you from
Buffalo, Minnesota

Where do you currently live?
Monticello, Minnesota

Where do you currently practice?
Uptown Eye Care and MLP Optometry

What schools did you graduate from (undergrad and postgrad)?
St. Ben's and Arizona College of Optometry

What do you like to do when you're not working?
I love being a mom and hanging out with my two little girls. When I get to sneak away my favorite spots is on the pontoon.

What leads you to continue serving your community as an optometrist?
I love working with the pediatric and brain injury population. Seventy percent of the brain uses the visual system in some way. We have the power as optometrists to make a significant difference in someone's life. We can greatly impact how a child reads or help someone that is suffering with vision issues post concussion.

If you weren't an optometrist, what would you be?
I think now that I have kids I would be a stay at home mom if I didn't practice optometry.

What drives you to continue your membership with the Minnesota Optometric Association?
The Minnesota Optometric Association is the only organization that fights for our rights as optometrists.

What cause means the most to you right now? Does not have to be optometry related, but can be.
Doing free pediatric exams for children in need through the Lions Club.

What fun fact would you like to share about yourself?
I love the water. Sitting by the lake or the ocean always makes me feel the happiest.

Please list any professional accolades you have been awarded.
