What do you like to do when you're not working?
I love spending time with my family, hiking, and exploring new places!
What leads you to continue serving your community as an optometrist?
Being able to see first hand the impact we can have on someone’s quality of life by improving their vision–whether it be fitting a teenager in contacts so he can play baseball without glasses or helping someone in a new job with a functional set of computer glasses, and more of course! Everyone has different needs for their eyes, and we get to help improve how they see and interact with the world.
If you weren't an optometrist, what would you be?
I'd be a talk show host.
What drives you to continue your membership with the Minnesota Optometric Association?
It's the connectivity and working with like-minded peers to achieve a common goal!
What cause means the most to you right now?
I would love to be able to improve or solve the affordable housing crisis in this country.
What fun fact would you like to share about yourself?
I’ve competed in a halftime show at a Minnesota Lynx game and won.
